Support with ADHD

If you have been diagnosed or suspect you are living with ADHD, it can feel an insurmountable task to add structure into your daily life and routines. We can help look at the kinds of things you have been struggling with and create a plan to help you move forwards.

What kinds of things can we help with?

  • Decluttering your home and paperwork so you have less to manage day to day
  • Organising your home within a framework that make sense to you
  • Creating daily schedules that keep you on track and productive
  • Breaking down projects into small manageable chunks to keep the overwhelm at bay
  •  Helping you think about prioritising so you focus on the right things at the right time
  •  Creating budgets to help you keep your finances under control
  •  Assisting you with time management strategies that will help you be on time

I've been working with Katie for around 6-7 years now. She first came to my home to help me declutter and organise as things were becoming unmanageable. I have a number of other medical conditions that make staying on top of the home, especially with a young family, just a little hard.

We worked together to put in place a number of organisational processes to make things easier for us as a family, and she also helped me to source more regular help in the form of a cleaner/carer so that she could be with me on a regular weekly basis to help stay on top of the bigger jobs for me.

I've also been diagnosed with ADHD during the course of us working together, a diagnosis that has been liberating for me and helped me to understand myself and my challenges with being organised so much better. I also now work with Katie to get to the granular level of organising to work around my condition, and I very much enjoy having a much more organised and manageable home!

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to have been diagnosed with ADHD for you to be able to help me?

Not at all. Many of our clients suspect they have ADHD but don't have or want a diagnosis. Regardless of where you are in your ADHD journey, we can help you put in place strategies to ensure you feel more in control.

Do you have any specific training in ADHD?

All our organisers have specific personal experience of neurodiversity - either with clients or family members. We are constantly undertaking professional development via various training programmes, talks and workshops. Whilst training is vital and enlightening,  our main learning will always be from our clients. There's nothing as powerful than learning directly from the neurodiverse clients we work with. Each and every person we work with allows us to build up a range of strategies to explore.

How long are your sessions? I struggle to remain focused on specific tasks and get distracted or overwhelmed easily.

Our minimum session length is 3 hours and typically we will do no more than 5 hours together. Our sessions are tailored to your needs and we will take breaks as and when you need them or we feel distraction, overwhelm or hyperfocus is impacting your progress.

Do you ever work on a weekly basis with clients?

Yes we have some clients we see on a very regular basis, but equally we can do one-off sessions too.

Do you give advice about ADHD appropriate tools to use?

Yes, during our session we will identify tools and resources we have found useful in the past or we can research new things to help after our session too.

Do you help people with neurodivergencies other than ADHD?

Yes, we have worked with clients with ASD, OCD, Dyspraxia, Discalculia. Every client is different and our strategies are tailored to your needs and your life. Whilst we have expert knowledge of strategies that can generally help, no two neurodiverse people have the same needs.

I often forget about appointments and either miss them or double book myself. Can you remind me?

Yes, we will ensure we send appropriate reminders to you in a format and timescale that will work for you.

Do your team have ADHD?

No-one within the team has a diagnosis of ADHD but a combination of living with family members and working with clients has given us the insight and knowledge to provide tried and tested strategies.
